Fashion Faux Pas

On a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon, one would think that offering to help their husband chore would be exciting for him, something out of the ordinary.  Little did I know our chore hour would be filled with 3 major fashion faux pas....and they all happened to be jumpsuits.
Exhibit A.  Golden Sun Feeds jumpsuit.  This is the hideous jumpsuit that my mom found in her attic and offered to Karl...of course she sewed up a couple of the holes first!  While I was giving Karl the eye like "really, that is the ugliest thing I've ever seen" he proceeded to agree with my mom about how it was "still in good condition." wowzers....  Needless to say, it has worked out quite well.  Karl wears this to the shed every morning and back home at night.  It stays in the non-stinky part of the shed so when it comes to the house it doesn't smell.  Although this thing is hideous, it's still serving it's purpose....30 yrs old and all...
Exhibit B.  The ugliest striped jean jumpsuit that exists.  When we got to the shed tonight he didn't put on the typical blue jumpsuit, but rather this "new" one.  With an appalled look on my face I had to ask where the heck this one came from.  Karl proudly responded with a grin, "I bought it! at the hardware store!"  Oh my stars, hasn't he learned he should never go shopping without me?!?! Regrettably I asked the next logical question, "You didn't pay more than $1 for that, right?".  He again proudly responded "$29.99".  Oh dear... let's just hope this thing has a long of a life as the golden sun feeds jumpsuit and it'll maybe be worth that price.
Exhibit C.  The traditional blue jumpsuit.  It's lightweight, practical and comfy.  The shower cap is definitely what completes the look.  Don't just think it's for looks- it has a purpose - to keep the pig smell out of long blonde hair :)

Regardless of our major fashion faux pas in the hogshed, our pigs are full grown and will be leaving in the next 2 weeks!!  I guess there is now two things that "what happens in the hog shed, stays in the hog shed"... cursing & jumpsuits :)
